RIP Terriers. Such a brilliant show. It caught the sleazy angst of Southern California perfectly. The writing was smart, biting and original. Way too smart for basic cable, obviously.
Never watched The Good Wife. I think the title made it sound like something different than what it is to those of us not paying attention. My fav shows include Breaking Bad, Dexter, Boardwalk Empire(altho not up to The Sopranos or The Wire), Southland and Justified.
Steve, I have to agree that THE GOOD WIFE is much better than I expected it to be and worth your time. Even Todd likes it!
Phil has good taste, Patti. It's a very entertaining show.
We stuck with BOARDWALK to the end but it was very uneven. The first episode was probably the best, a couple others were really good and there were a couple that were very dull.
Great to see THE GOOD WIFE, JUSTIFIED, BREAKING BAD and TERRIERS make your list, patti. The last one sadly was discontinued by FX in a bad move. At least the others are continuing so I have something to look forward to. But I've got to say, I loved the way they wrapped the season up. I hoped Hank and Britt made the turn. Thanks.

Justified is amazing, and I love the fact that it's set in my hometown.

Great choices.
I like JUSTIFIED too.
Another favorite is Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on The Food Network.

PS - Have a great New Year!
That's Phil's fovarite show. You men and your meat. You, too, Jeff and love to Jackie.
Terriers is a huge loss.

whatever they are, without names I don't have a clue, but I'm glad you like them. Happy New Year's Eve to you, be safe and happy!
You too, Rick.
Steve-It is an amazingly good show. Rent the first season and give it a try.
I gave up on Boardwalk probably too early.
Diane considers THE GOOD WIFE the best program on TV right now. Happy New Year to you and Phil!
And you, George.

It's no SOPRANOS or DEADWOOD, that's for sure.

Denise had me watch Modern Family a few times and I thought it was pretty funny.
Happy New Year!
I don't think I've seen any of them! I'm sure they'll turn up in Poland when you all have hologram TV!
