  7. A while ago I bought Fred Brown's MOSTLY MURDER on Kindle. It must have been on sale then because it is $9.99 now and there is no way I'd pay that much, frankly. I've read a lot of Brown's short stories, including a large collection of his SF stuff. This is, as the title suggests, mostly murder but the tone and the plots are actually pretty varied. As always, Brown is worth reading.
