There's a languid, haunting jazz standard covered by many, many singers called "Something Cool". The first time I ever heard it was in a cabaret in Chicago and it was blazing hot. Can't help but think of summer every time I hear it...not very often these days.
This is one of my daughter's favorite version, but I still prefer Billy Stewart's very brassy and jazzy take on it.
