Great movie! However, have you seen Shirley MacLaine in Downton Abbey? My goodness, what five decades can do to a person. (Oh, I just looked in the mirror. I can clearly see what five decades can do.)
It's a great movie though of course it is surprising that people see it in such a romantic haze given the fairly cynical subject matter - but that was Billy wilder's great gift of course, making the unpalatable palatable.
