Never liked him either. And even after it seemed like his son had lied about his ill-treamtent you had to think some of it must be true for him to lie. He always seemed like a cold fish.
Aw gee, I just sent off Bing Crosby's 50 Greatest Holiday Hits to Jeff. Play it through a few times, Jeff, give it a chance.
The only problem with holiday music is that there are about 50 songs that get played over and over, many of them pretty bad. I had a all-holiday season radio station on yesterday and heard "I'm Getting' Nuttin' for Christmas ('cause I Been Nuttin' But Bad)" several times. Oh my.
Ah, the holiday spirit - Thanks, Patti.
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm one of the few people who can't stand Bing Crosby so I'm glad you didn't use his version.

ReplyDeleteHe was a real "family man" except when he was screwing other women all over town. I hate hypocrites.

Now I'll have to go to you tube and play Black Sabbath as a counter. ;)

I am worn out with Vince Guaraldi's Charlie Brown Christmas music but don't know how to tell my husband that.
ReplyDeleteSticking with Oscar Peterson's Christmas album this year.
