It's an indication of how old this song is (and I am) that this was the first place I ever heard the term "master bedroom." in my childhood, all bedrooms were the same size with no designations.
Hm. Interesting idea. I bet I never heard it before the seventies. And, of course. that is when she sang it. And of course in the Simon household I am sure the master bedroom was huge and deserved its designation
