Did anyone ever remake these? Not that they should, but seems ripe for it...

Never tire of listening to Harold Faltermeyer's composition for this film or for that matter Ennio Morricone's theme song in THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY.

[Patti, I'm sorry I had to delete the comment previously because the verification words got squeezed in somehow.]

Patti - What an excellent, excellent choice for a theme song! I've always liked it.

LOVED this, Patti. Though I never saw the movie.

I also liked the song from the Pointer Sisters used in the first Beverly Hills Cop movie. (If I remember correctly.)

Walk on the Wild Side had a great opening credits sequence and a great theme by Elmer Bernstein. The movie was a big stinkeroo though.

Yvette, "Neutron Dance" by Pointer Sisters plays in the backdrop as the crazy driver of a suspect trailer runs amok through the streets of Detroit with Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) hanging for dear life. Fun scene!

Thanks, Prashant. I can never remember the name of that song!
A very cool opening for a movie.
