The only spot-on animal call I can make (besides the roar of the mighty lion, but I can only do that when attacking in a rage) is that of the peacock. Not just the loud one, but the clicking sounds they make. It's one of my hidden talents. Actually, it may be my only hidden talent.
Great pics, Patti. I especially like the Zebras.
ReplyDeleteWe finally realized we hadn't been using the closeup. Maybe reading the manual would help.
ReplyDeleteCool beans ~~ and ties in nicely with Herzog's latest on cave paintings~~
ReplyDeletePatti - Oh, these are great! I think my favourite is that beautiful vivid blue peacock, even if the tail isn't fanned out.
ReplyDeleteStill hoping to catch it.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

ReplyDeleteNice. I need to get back to the Audobon zoo pretty soon. Haven't been in a long while.
ReplyDeleteAnd no longer hidden.
ReplyDeleteThe Detroit Zoo is a fine one but no elephants, cheetahs or gazelles-Kevins' three favorites.
Lovely shots, Patti! I especially like the one of the zebra with its head half-obscured and the rhino, grey-on-grey!
ReplyDeleteAnd I miss those wandering peacocks...
