  6. I was stunned by how young he looked. Waffle House-we don't have them around here. Just IHOP and the Original Pancake House. Not the same.

    No Waffle House here either, but we see a lot of them driving down to Florida. Haven't gone in and ordered a chicken sandwich, however.

    As for the comments, we were all a lot younger then.

  10. One afternoon we were driving home on the coast road from Biloxi, Mississippi (about an hour away). In a distance of less than 60 miles, we must have counted at least 12 Waffle Houses. In fact, there was one stretch where we saw two Waffle Houses facing each other on opposite sides of the street.

    Love their smothered hash browns!

    It wouldn't be the Runaway Alien Head scene, would it? When Palmer (David Clennon) says, "You gotta be f*ckin' kidding", it doesn't get any better than that. Even director John Carpenter and Kurt Russell love that one. Just saying ;-).
