That and your post got me thinking about a school friend who played the fiddle and led a group of high school students who played polkas, old-time waltzs. fox-trots, jigs, two-steps, butterflys and schottisches at our local Ukrainian Hall. The crowd was primarily made up of parents, their co-workers and friends.
