There was a lot of grumbling by Boy #2 during a short two mile hike/walk. After reaching the Troop's campsite the Cub Scouts were supposed to either help with gathering fire wood in the wet woods or help construct that evening's shelter. Boy #2 grumbled.

After Boy #2 was back at home Boy #1 and I stayed the evening. I brought along a sleeping bag rated to 55 degrees but the temperature that night dropped down to 39. After turning in early I tried to endure the cold but gave up, drove home, grabbed a warmer sleeping bag, sat around at home for awhile, and drove back.

After getting lost in the dark woods on a failed short cut I backtracked, took the actual trail, and went to sleep at the campsite. The morning was a bit better and someone brought coffee.Gerard Saylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00289822422163685990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33110302.post-44775813881429659892017-02-20T14:15:08.316-05:002017-02-20T14:15:08.316-05:00Rick, it's been very dry here in So.
