It was over four hours long (with intermission), but was most affecting: when Hamlet died, I really did feel like crying myself.<br /><br />But if you really feel that Hamlet never lets you down, check out the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version which stars Maximillian Schell, was made for German Tv in the 1960s, and is very badly dubbed.
