If she went to a movie she'd just walk in without paying attention to when the movie started. I can still remember her taking us to see WEST SIDE STORY and walking in after the rumble! We had no idea of what was going on. Then when the movie came around again she's say, "This is where we came in. Let's go."

Maybe that's why I'm like Alvy Singer in ANNIE HALL. The movie I paid to see the most was "Animal House," which I saw in at least ten different shows. This is followed closely by "Blazing Saddles," which was the last time I was told I needed a parent or adult guardian to get into a movie! I must have seen that (with or without aforementioned guardian) at least six times in its first release. I think the last movie I saw more than once in the theater was "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."Debnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33110302.post-68861068039458930822012-12-09T12:45:28.434-05:002012-12-09T12:45:28.434-05:00At the movies? We've seen a bunch of movies twice but I certainly can't ever remember paying to see something more than twice.

In the early days (before electricity!) we'd go to see double features (remember those?) most weeks so occasionally saw a movie we'd already seen. This is how we ended up seeing REPULSION twice!

Over the years we've occasionally sat through a movie twice in a row - AMERICAN HOT WAX comes to mind - but we only paid once.

The last movie we saw twice that I can remember is JUNO, which we saw in Brooklyn and then saw a second time in Florida. But that time we went to see another movie (DEFINTIELY, MAYBE) and walked into JUNO afterwards.

Jeff M.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33110302.post-60999422346304949932012-12-09T11:38:02.301-05:002012-12-09T11:38:02.301-05:00I was dating.
