1. MARRIAGE STORY
2. UNCUT GEMS
3. LITTLE WOMEN
4. PARASITE
5. LAST BLACK MAN IN SAN FRANCISCO
6. MILES DAVIS: BIRTH OF THE COOL
7. ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD
8. HONEY BOY
9. LUCE 10. HIGH FLYING BIRD/BOOKSMART
So far, we've only seen MARRIAGE STORY, which we liked quite a bit, though some of the others are on our list for Florida. Speaking of Adam Driver, we watched THE REPORT on Amazon Prime yesterday. Jackie liked it a lot more than I did. It was a hoot seeing Annette Bening almost unrecognizable as Diane Feinstein.
I saw BOOKSMART, ONCE UPON A TIME...in HOLLYWOOD, LITTLE WOMEN, and UNCUT GEMS. I want to see that MILES DAVIS film when it comes to town or on a streaming service. I'm hoping 2020 is a great year for movies!
I haven't seen Booksmart, Miles Davis, High Flying Bird, Luce, Uncut Gems or Little Women. I'm a bit behind here. You liked Honeyboy much more than I did. Narriage Story I felt well acted but it didn't engage me. Never been a fan of Noah Baumbach. Thought his Greenberg was one of the worst films I've ever seen. Will probably see Uncut Gems in the next couple days. And 1917 when it opens wide next week.
I plan to watch MARRIAGE STORY, THE IRISHMAN and THE LAUNDROMAT on Netflix. I don't think the other films on your list are available on Netflix India.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Patti!
Glad you found some films to enjoy, Patti. I've not seen them all, so now, thanks to you, I have a good list to explore. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Margot and Prashant.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, and Happy Birthday tomorrow!
Thanks, guys. Hope you have a safe trip down. My friends just got to Savannah with no weather. It is snowing here today.
ReplyDeleteIt is supposed to be 57 (latest change) on Saturday when we leave, so fingers crossed.
