My own favorite McCartney Beatles song is probably still "Got to Get You Into My Life" among a small slew of others...and I'd say that even with some good post-Beatles work, he could've used the continuing challenge if they got on better. But, then, who would've guessed that in the first months after the breakup of the band the member producing work with the best balance of pop songcraft and artistry would be Mr. Starkey? Being the least bitter and angry probably helped, and perhaps also that his minor but not terrible acting career was already underway, as well.Todd Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01815516018079824802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33110302.post-21254003184994072712012-03-25T08:26:11.738-04:002012-03-25T08:26:11.738-04:00Patti - Oh, now, who can resist Paul McCartney!?? ...Patti - Oh, now, who can resist Paul McCartney!?? :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33110302.post-44816780625574250892012-03-25T01:25:50.999-04:002012-03-25T01:25:50.999-04:00I hadn't heard this song before.
