This anthology was conceived and put together by Eric Beetner through Down and Out Books. Here is an article with Eric at the
Washington Post where he explains the concept behind asking writers for crime stories that do not feature guns as a weapon. Any profits from the collection will be sent to organizations working for better gun control in our society.
My story is called "Stark Raving" and concerns two elderly siblings fighting over the disposition of their mother's collection of beanie babies. I had a lot of fun writing it. About as close to a cozy as I have ever gotten.
You can find it in the usual places.

ReplyDeleteGot it! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCool. I've heard some good stuff about this already
ReplyDeleteHaven't gotten my copy yet. I am curious. I mean not having guns in it might not cut down on the violence quotient that much. You can do pretty nasty things with knives, rope, etc.
