Those McNallys from Winnipeg take care of writers. I was in the flagship store of the McNally parents last night for a reading. There were two events going on in different parts of the store. While they host famous writers such as Ian Rankin and Richard Ford, the McNallys support most Canadian writers including local ones just starting out. It is no surprise to me that their daughter's store in New York City has the same reputation of supporting new writers. I will check to see if your book is in the Winnipeg store and if so, will buy a copy. It's great to have a fine independent bookstore five minutes from my home.
Very cool.

That must be a thrill, Patti.
ReplyDeleteSweet! You both should be proud!
ReplyDeleteA literary dynasty in the making!
ReplyDeleteSeriously--this is so great!
Oh, I love this!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteThat's terrific! I can't guess which of you is the most proud. I'm eager to get a copy in hand, in another week.
