Detest this song. Nothing against feminism but this is just crappy music.
It's one of those songs that just stays in your head for days. I'm just condemned to a weekend of finding myself singing, "Yes, I've paid the price, but look how much I've gained."
Have you noticed how all of Helen Reddys songs have great intro's (as well as being great songs too obviously).
I disagree Steve, its one of THE greatest songs of the 70`s.
